Personally, what does it mean for you to be a formator?
Who is a formator?
With so many seminarians and so few formators, I consider the seminarians as co-formators of one another. At the same time, we on the formation team formally so called, have the responsibility to encourage and challenge the formands to grow in human, intellectual, spiritual and apostolic maturity.
What do you believe is your duty to the Josefinos?
What are your vision/dreams for them?
With the rest of the formation team, I oversee and encourage the seminarians’ own pursuit of formation goals which they themselves have appropriated from the seminary guidelines in line with the revised Philippine Program of Priestly Formation. My dream for them is that they become priests characterized by continuing growth in “virtud y letras”, “spirit and service.”

Personally, what does it mean for you to be a formator?
Who is a formator?
A formator accompanies the semina-rians during the course of their formation. The formator is also a co-discerner.
What do you believe is your duty to the Josefinos?
What are your visions/dreams for them?
Josefinos can become catalysts of renewal and change and be spiritual and moral leaders to the Christian communities where they will be missioned. With God’s grace, I dream of holy Josefinos.
